Residential Facility Capital Funding

Pierce County is offering capital funding from the 1590 Maureen Howard Affordable Housing Sales Tax Fund to support the development of one or more state-licensed residential facilities providing onsite Medicaid-reimbursable medical and behavioral health services, food, and essential care to at least 50 residents with behavioral health needs who qualify for Medicaid. The facilities must be located in a city, town, or Urban Growth Area, operated by experienced providers, and licensed by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services or Department of Health. Eligible bidders include nonprofit housing developers, behavioral health service providers, and organizations with expertise in serving Medicaid-eligible individuals with behavioral health disorders.
