US Native Turtles - Housing Care Testing

The US Fish and Wildlife Service seeks veterinary support services for the year-round housing, care, testing, and data management of up to 500 confiscated native turtles and tortoises to support repatriation. The contractor must maintain an AZA-compliant facility with climate-controlled, species-specific enclosures, independent quarantine areas, brumation management, and full veterinary care, closed to the public. Potential bidders include specialized reptile veterinary facilities, accredited zoos or aquariums, and exotic animal care centers with relevant infrastructure and experience.
