Description

The US Army's Joint Project Manager for CBRN Medical is requesting design concepts and capabilities for a modular, formulation-agnostic autoinjector platform that supports single- or dual-chamber delivery of liquid or reconstituted drugs in volumes from 0.4 mL to 5.0 mL. The device must achieve 99.999% reliability, meet MIL-STD-810H ruggedization standards for intramuscular use through protective gear, and initially accommodate compounds such as atropine, pralidoxime, midazolam, and naloxone, with pathways for commercial dual-use. Medical device manufacturers, autoinjector specialists, and pharmaceutical firms experienced in FDA-cleared delivery systems are likely respondents to this RFI.

A strong match for healthcare vendors

Curated for medical & healthcare suppliers

Why we classified this as medical

Title and description explicitly request development of a modular autoinjector device for IM delivery of pharmaceuticals (Atropine, 2-PAM, Midazolam, Naloxone) with FDA-validated 99.999% reliability and dual-chamber reconstitution capability.
